Nutrition Consultation and Programming
At Holos MD, we know that whether your goal is weight loss, muscle gain, athletic performance, or simply better overall health, the foundation of that is nutrition. Holos MD will help you create a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Our Specialists are passionate about health, wellness, and fitness, and they enjoy teaching others how to live their healthiest and most balanced lives possible.
What is Nutrition Consultation and Programming
Whatever your wellness goals are, Holos MD will assist in designing the most effective lifestyle system to achieve daily balance. You will learn about combining functional foods together that will create simple, healthy meals. During your sessions, Holos MD will create a personalized eating plan that is rewarding, tailored to your schedule, and based on long-term success. Holos MD will educate you about supplements as well, which is an important part of healthy living because food today does not contain the same nutrients as it did many years ago.
What to expect from a nutritional consultation
Your first nutritional consultation can be conducted either in person or remotely, as the first consultation is just a discussion to give a Holos MD specialist the opportunity to gain a full understanding of your current nutritional situation. We will inquire about your goals and why you are in need of change, in addition to your medical history and any medications you may be on or have taken in the past. You may also be asked about your current life situation, stress levels, sleep patterns, and exercise or physical activities you take part in.
It’s also very helpful to prepare for your first consultation by recording everything you’ve eaten in the 24-hour period prior to your appointment. What’s even better is keeping a food diary of several days of meals and snacks. With this information, your nutritional consultant can start to discuss your cooking habits and dietary preferences, and identify areas that need improvement.
